I spent two pointless days trying to write a post that would show Hussein Abubakr Mansour why fighting for "manhood" is not a project I am qualified for or even that interested in. It is important for our culture to have some basic principles on why manhood (or womanhood) is positive and not cartoonish but I have literally spent my entire life running from spaces where policing gender boundaries has a good chance of leaving me with absolutely nothing to say that will be listened to.
