I am a writer and editor based in Boston. I’ve worked at national media companies including Slate, Newsweek, and The Daily Beast, and my writing on ideas and politics has appeared in The New Republic, The Chronicle of Higher Education, Commonweal, Dissent, and others. I received my PhD in European intellectual history from Boston College, where I was also a visiting researcher at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris and a fellow at the Clough Center for Constitutional Democracy.
